Form and Freedom

The body soul technique of 'Form and Freedom', combines psychosomatic therapy methods, dance-movement therapy, Jungian oriented body psychotherapy and consist of structured as well as spontaneous creative therapy components.

'Form and Freedom' adapts to the individual need of the client in short or long-term body- psychotherapy, stress-management and relaxation technique or as therapy process for emotional distress, trauma, or severe chronic pain.

With an initial 'body-mind awareness assessment' a therapy program is developed to suit each individuals need- to strengthen ego boundaries and/or open up to the imaginal realm.  'Form and Freedom' works with authentic movement, images, symbols and metaphors as the language of the body soul.  Metaphors are seen as the transformer, bridge between an inner and an outer reality that  can incresae a personal deeper understanding of the experienced symptoms in the body.  It opens up a new possibility for the individual to experience the bodys way  in  relating to self and others. The embodied metaphor can become a tool for integrating the body-mind-emotion- existential aspects of the individual.
